Durham Blues Festival 2011
These are some pictures from my first Durham Blues Festival. I never thought that I would have as much fun as I did. Durham Central Park was filled with people from all over eating, dancing, drinking, and listening to great music. All of the performers where simply phenomenal, which is an understatement. I had a chance to see "The Legendary" Bobby Hinton tear up the keys that night. I also got a chance to hear Rick Tobey serenade his "Honey Pie", and the Harvey Dalton Arnold Blues Band simply rocked the crowd. The night was great; I wish I could relive every moment.
Unity in the Commmunty 2011
Micah Stampley, Troy Sneed, and Maurette Brown Clark, just to name a few.
The Yolanda Adams Health and Wellness Tour was also being held at this event. There were a lot of different vendors, with plenty of useful info about proper eating, and staying active. You name it! My favorite part was the Zumba demonstration. Part 2 is this weekend I can't wait for it!!!!
